For a couple of years, two entrepreneurs faced a common hiring problem - oftentimes, within 60 seconds of starting an interview, they knew the candidate would not fit the organisation culture, but ploughed through the interview nevertheless. Only if they could have a glimpse of the applicant's personality even before having to meet them!

They felt that the applicant community would also have a similar problem, where each year, millions of resumes change hands, with a majority of them being unable to break through the monotony of the same old formats. A need to bridge the gap between 89% of recruiters preferring video resumes vs an actual 17% receiving it. IntroMagic was conceived to solve this problem and make life easier for recruiters and applicants alike!

At IntroMagic we’re on a mission to help every candidate to find their dream role by putting their best face forward. We enable this by helping job applicants record short videos introducing themselves and highlighting strengths and their personality which can help them stand out from the sea of text resumes. The product also allows recruiters to screen candidates better using video introductions. Presently in the beta-launch phase, we are building the future of online interviews.

About the team

You will be joining a cross functional team working on a SaaS product for the HR tech industry. You’ll work with key people from Community, Product, Marketing, Creative, Engineering, People & Recruiting to get the best experience for our users. In your day to day you’ll work directly with the digital marketing & brand team & report to the head of digital marketing.

About the role

We are currently looking for a digital marketing intern with a go-getter attitude who will:

  • Execute various on-page and off-page SEO optimization strategies
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager to refine social media strategy
  • Assist in managing social media channels
  • Prepare weekly updates and reports to track the growth and success of multiple SEO and other campaigns
  • Keep up to date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordingly
  • Assist with website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, etc.
  • Check for Lead generation and other PR activities
  • Work on various aspects of online promotions

We are an early-stage startup which can offer a ton of learning opportunities not just in terms of digital marketing but also leadership skills.

  • 3 months paid internship
  • Opportunity to work with a SaaS product from pre-launch stage and be a part of the digital marketing strategies from day 1
  • Be closely involved in product journey from beta testing to launch to product market fit

About you

We’d love to bring you on board if :

  • You have great communication skills
  • You have the ability to take initiative, employ good judgment, and strong analytical skills
  • You can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • You understand and utilize emerging platforms, digital media, and web/social media management and measurement tools (e.g. HootSuite, Google Analytics)
  • You have knowledge of Digital Marketing and basic coding is a plus
  • You are creative, hardworking , detail-oriented & love to take ownership of the job
  • You’re an empathetic person with a big appetite for success
